Margaret Birdseye, established in 2017, draws its name from a lineage renowned for linen weaving since the 17th century. This brand embodies a rich tradition of craftsmanship and refinement while innovatively reinterpreting historical precedents to forge a path toward the future. 

The genesis of Margaret Birdseye was marked by a three-year journey of exploration, during which the founders collaborated with various knitting houses. This culminated in the launch of their inaugural knitwear collection for Spring/Summer 2020. Each piece reflects meticulous consideration, embodying excellence through the use of the finest materials, such as Italian cashmere yarn crafted in Belgium's most venerable knitting house, or hand-loomed fabrics from Nepal, chosen for their texture and feel.
